It’s difficult to find so much forward fashion without a trip to Europe. A traveler’s destination for adaptable clothing, Shu Shu specializes in statement pieces bordering on the editorial. Some of her more conservative styles are shown here, but a trip to the boutique is a must to fully appreciate her breadth.

An authentic haberdashery, men could not do better than Steve’s precision purchasing. Custom professional garments and striking daily wear endure because he’s a stickler for quality. Shoppers enjoy good conversation and a complimentary bar, which, incidentally, served as a lifesaver for this once-anxious mother. (We lived within baby-strolling distance.) A parent support group not found on Amazon!

Does anyone relish bra shopping? Anyone? Thanks to Romantiques, I look forward to it. Carrying only the most successful brands—those worn by real women—they also bring in a little fun…for both sides of the door. What used to be a chore now takes me 30 minutes or less.
